NBC CT will now be first out of the box with local news on weekend mornings. The station’s newscasts will begin at 5:30 am both mornings, which is a half-hour earlier than the current Saturday start time and an hour earlier than Sunday’s. Weekends are anchored by Shirley Chan and Kerri-Lee Mayland with meteorologist Darren Sweeney.
my guess is that Kerri-Lee will move to weekend evenings when Lauren leaves for Chicago.
