Per the Connecticut Post’s Ken Dixon – Fresh off his much lauded Hearst series on Gov. Malloy’s first year in office, Ted Mann has found a new home. The former New London Day capitol reporter has taken a job covering transportation at the Wall Street Journal.

It is no surprise that one of the country’s leading newspapers has scooped up the talented Mann. We wish him luck in his new role.

  1. Jim,

I get the WSJ everyday – Best paper by far – Congrats on joining
My wife and I have written over and over on the TZB – The current plan calls for 2 spans – one with 4 lanes plus breakdown. The other has the same but also a Walkway/Bikeway. It just seems so obvious to us that both should have 5 lanes with one being for transit. Forget the 3.5 mile walkway – Leave the old bridge for that seems to be one option. Rail across this bridge is really not feasible although no one will say so. Please keep up the focus on this – Maybe you can get them to do the right thing – Thank you.
