Liz Oyer, who writes on Substack and appears regularly in the media as a former DOJ attorney who was fired for doing her job, started dropping episodes of Is This Really Legal? this week. Oyer was the DOJ’s pardon attorney. She was let go when she refused to restore the gun rights of actor Mel Gibson.
She is one of many new media personalities who probably never imagined themselves working in or around journalism when their careers began.
