In an email sent to contacts and sources, long time Hartford Courant business writer Ken Gosselin has announced his retirement after just over forty years with the paper. Gosselin’s anniversary with the Courant was last Thursday.
In his note, Gosselin said he plans to stay active “in some way in Hartford,” but not as a reporter. At sixty-seven years old, he said now is the right time to step aside for himself and for his family.
With Gosselin’s retirement, there are very few reporters left at the Courant with ties to the paper’s most influential period as a Connecticut institution.
