Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace, who has managed for years now to be fair and balanced inside a news enterprise that is decidedly not, had high praise recently for Connecticut native and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
Wallace says Psaki is one of the best White House press secretaries ever. This is surely not an easy comment for Wallace to make given the inside Fox politics of his workplace. Psaki is confronted almost daily with a sparring match brought on by Fox reporter Peter Doocy who is a latter day version of Sam Donaldson minus the sincerity.
Psaki is still working from home after she and members of her family tested positive for Covid about two weeks ago. As we have noted before, she said when she took the job she envisioned staying for only about a year. That clock is ticking.
