Dennis House and the WFSB public affairs program “Face the State” paid homage to the 30th anniversary of Governor Ella Grasso’s death this past Sunday. In doing so, two of the program’s former hosts joined Dennis: former Grasso press secretary Larry deBear, who was also the first host of the Face the State in 1965, and Don Noel, former WFSB political reporter who succeeded deBear in moderating the program. Also appearing on the Grasso segment: former Secretary of the State/U.S. Senate candidate Susan Bysiewicz who wrote a biography of Grasso.
