We don’t know how many times we have posted a story from the New York Post about the likely end of former WFSB anchor Gayle King’s time at CBS Mornings. (At least five times in the last two years).
But even a stopped watch is right at least two times a day and given current developments this may not be a case of the Post crying King. The latest Post speculation piece on King’s tenure is hooked to the recent merger of Paramount and Skydance and the perception that CBS Mornings is “woke,” losing viewers at a fast rate, and therefore a target.
King recently signed a one year contract extension to stay with CBS through next May.
