Actress Annette Bening will be in Old Saybrook this weekend to receive The Spirit of Katharine Hepburn Award at The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center.
The honor is awarded annually to someone who “embodies the spirit” of the late actress who spent much of her time at her family home in Old Saybrook. Past honorees include: Candice Bergen, Cher, Glenn Close, Jane Fonda and Sam Waterston. This is the eleventh year the award has been given.
