Former Hartford Courant columnist Helen Ubiñas announced last month that she is leaving the field of daily journalism after thirty years. She has been writing for the Philadelphia Inquirer since 2011.
In her final column she wrote that she will be devoting her efforts to the Ñ Fund for Latinas in Journalism – a non-profit she set up in 2022.
