Keith Kountz, longtime news anchor at WTNH, will receive an honorary degree from Quinnipiac University. Kountz will address the students at the Graduate and College of Professional Studies Commencement ceremony on May 10th. Keith started at the station in 1987 as a general assignment reporter, eventually becoming morning anchor. After leaving for a stint in Jacksonville he returned and now co-anchors the 5 pm and 10 pm news.
I’m biased, obviously, but he is hands down, one of the best. His stories of broadcasting through the years are fantastic, and he continues to be a beacon of journalism in today’s changing landscape.
