ICYMI – After forty-three years, Christiane Amanpour has decided to leave CNN.
She will be curtailing her appearances on her daily program to once a week. She will be off the air in May of next year and depart the company officially in June.
Although she has expressed public skepticism about the new ownership of CNN, at sixty-eight years of age, and after a grueling four decade career in war zones, it is reasonable to think she has concluded this is a good time to leave.
