As we enter week two of political exile for ABC talk show host James “Jimmy” Kimmel, Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy appeared on ABC’s This Week program to talk about the administration’s attack on free speech and the rule of law.
Murphy opened up with his reaction to President Trump’s weekend social media post ordering Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute three of his political enemies.
“This is one of the most dangerous moments America has ever faced. We are quickly turning into a banana republic,” Murphy said. “This is a decisive moment for the country.”
