Guest Host….Sebastian

WTIC-am confirms for us that radio personality Sebastian will serve as a guest host during the midday show (9am-12 noon) for the week of April 12th. The station plans to have different hosts per week till a permanent replacement is found for Jim Vicevich, who left when he and the station couldn’t come to terms on a contract.

We’re told by station management that there are no definite plans for former Connecticut Governor John Rowland to serve as a guest host but that it’s a possibility.

  1. Is there ANY chance WTIC just might hire someone who doesn’t fall off the right side of this flat earth? Would it be asking too much for that individual to possibly be interested in asking good questions (and not first telling us what he/she things and how he/she MUST be right) and being entertaining. Any chance for a professional?

  2. I actually though Jim V was doing a bang up job and considered him a prospect for syndication. TIC evidently thought otherwise and they have access to the ratings book and I dont. 🙂

Bringing Sebastian on to a heritage radio station is akin to the Queen Mum hiring a Milwaukee polka band to play at William and Kates nuptuals. An absolutely awful decision.
