We are reminded that a Hartford Courant story triggered the investigation of Mayor Eddie Perez. Dan Goren wrote a piece two years ago about a deal with longtime politico Abe Giles that apparently got the ball rolling. We’re told it’s referenced on page one of the Perez affadavit.
