When he’s a former Governor and the union contracts negotiated during his tenure are being re-visited. Former GOP Governor John Rowland and Pastor Will Marotti host “WTIC’s State & Church” weekdays from 3pm – 6pm. Read more about the back and forth that’s taking place with current Governor Dan Malloy (a Democrat) and AFL-CIO President John Olsen, who are both blaming Rowland’s contracts and reacting to his on-air criticisms.

  1. As a state employee, Governor Rowlands people signed al of the contracts. if he thought we were making too much…why did he bother to sign the contracts. The legislature can’t approve nor sign those contracts only the governor. Now we’re making too much. Go figure.

    Because of his numerous contracting schemes and all the work given to his friends, the whole state contracting system has been revamped and any business who applies to do work with the state must jump through hoops. Since businesses no longer want to work with the state, the state then pays more to those businesses willing to meet the new contracting rules.

    From a media standpoint, WTIC which WAS a very respectable station has sold out to the same people the citizens of CT kicked out and charged with felonies.

    GOV.MALLOY-LAY OFF STATE EMPLOYEES- A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE ACROSS THE BOARD-EVERY DEPT-UNION AND NON UNION-MANAGEMENT AND COMMISIONERS.
    AND OF COURSE- CUT SPENDING-CUT SPENDING AND CUT SPENDING.
