Today’s New London Day carries a letter from Jim Amann’s communications director, Patrick Scully, stating unequivocally that Amann has NOT dropped out of the race for Governor. A guest commentary by former Editorial Page Editor Morgan McGinley, entitled “Uphill Battle for State GOP” ,which ran on Sunday, mistakenly indicated that Amann was out. The paper ran a correction soon thereafter.
