TVSpy reports that Virginia Cha is leaving HLN (formerly Headline News) for the ABC affiliate in San Diego (KGTV). Virginia is an WFSB alum who co-anchored the mornings with then-new guy Dennis House during the mid-90s. She graduated from Princeton, was a Fulbright scholar and first runner-up in the 1990 Miss America pageant. After 3 years at “Broadcast House” she left for an anchor/reporter job in Boston and moved on from there.
