The Connecticut News Guild won a major case before the National Labor Relations Board this week in its continuing efforts to force Hearst Connecticut Media to recognize the union and begin bargaining for a contract.
The NLRB rejected attempts by Hearst to invalidate election results that led to formation of the union representing more than 100 Hearst Connecticut journalists. Once again, the Guild is asking Hearst to commence negotiations.
