New England Cable News has hired Joy Lim Nakrin and two others as it increases staffing.
Nakrin once worked at Fox 61. She recently worked at WFXT in Boston and left last November. At the time of her departure her next stop was unclear.
Nakrin is joining NECN as an afternoon anchor and evening reporter.
The network has also hired an additional weatherman and a new morning anchor.
