This morning the NBC rumor mill is generating news about former NBC CT anchor Natalie Morales. The word is she is in a standoff over future opportunities at The Today Show with the equally “ambitious” Tamron Hall and Hall appears to be winning the battle.

Update: Late Monday NBC News told TV Newser the reports of a Morales vs. Hall power struggle at The Today Show are “total nonsense.”
