Readers of The Laurel are well aware that longtime WFSB anchor Dennis House was let go earlier this month. Now FTVLive reports that the Meredith station in Nashville has offloaded its veteran anchorman…and that a weather anchor/reporter at Meredith’s Arizona station was fired over the phone this weekend and told it was for economic reasons.
