Congratulations to our friends at the Hartford Business Journal for their recent honors from the Alliance of Area Business Publishers.
The HBJ received six national awards for editorial excellence including a gold award for best newspaper of its size in the tabloid category. The judges praised the HBJ for its journalism and presentation:
“Overall, the reporting offers depth and great context whether it’s covering local law firms, international student enrollment at local colleges or a Social Equity Council finding its way,” judges wrote. “Strong headlines sell the story and their relevance, and tight story leads get to the point and pull readers in.”
The HBJ’s sister publications Worcester Business Journal and Mainebiz also took home some awards.
