It was a nasty scene outside Enfield Superior Court today when Fox CT Reporter George Colli and photographer Alan Chaniewski were sprayed with a chemical presumed to be insecticide by a suspect’s husband.
Christy Quail of Enfield was appearing in court on charges of receiving stolen beer from Omar Thornton. Thornton is the man who went on a mass shooting spree at Hartford Distributors earlier this month, killing eight coworkers before he shot himself. Quail’s husband, Sean Quail, also arrested for accepting stolen beer, can be seen spraying the Fox CT crew in this video. He was arrested again after this incident and charged with three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, three counts of third-degree assault, carrying a dangerous instrument and breach of peace.
