Matt DeRienzo, publisher of The Register Citizen (Torrington) and Foothills Media Group, has been named publisher of the Journal Register Company’s Central Connecticut properties, which include The Middletown Press, the Housatonic Media Group, The Litchfield County Times and the West Hartford News.
