This Wednesday evening NBC CT Chief Meteorologist Brad Field will receive the Silver Circle Award. The New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts gives the honor to a select few who have worked in the industry for more than 25 years.
Brad, who is a New England native, joined NBC CT in 1983, back when it was known as WVIT-TV/ Channel 30. Friends who will be attending the ceremony outside Boston include current and former co-workers Joanne Nesti, Tom Monahan, and Garett Argianas. Tom and Garett will present the award – Tom and Brad have worked together since Brad joined the station and Garett is someone that Brad has mentored.
