The Pulitzer Prizes have been announced and The Laurel spotted a Connecticut name (sorta) amongst the winners. Some Associated Press writers won for Investigative Reporting and the group includes Matt Apuzzo who spent three years in Connecticut, working on the Rowland scandal among other stories.
And of course the larger story is the significance of online sites Huffington Post (national reporting) and Politico (cartooning) winning their first Pulitzers…
