Long time WTNH meteorologist Geoff Fox died in his sleep Wednesday at the end of a long and public fight with cancer. The news was posted on social media at midday.
Fox worked at News 8 for close to twenty-seven years. After leaving, WTNH he joined Fox 61 in 2011 before moving to Palm Springs in 2015.
Throughout the last several years he had a number of ups and downs in his fight with cancer. Periodically he would post updates about his condition. About a month ago he posted that he had entered in-home hospice care, but true to his optimistic nature he told everyone there was still a good chance he might recover and live considerably longer.
Geoff Fox was 75.
