Sometimes local perceptions are hard to break and it takes someone looking from the outside to see what different parts of Connecticut have to offer.
For decades, Bridgeport has been known as the state’s largest city and among the poorest. But an article published this week in The Washington Post paints Bridgeport as a medium sized city on the rise; benefiting from reinvestment and overflow from the high prices of New York and lower Fairfield County.
