Tom Wiley, the president and publisher of the Buffalo News has been selected as the next CEO of the National Trust for Local News, a non-profit established to save local papers from the clutches of hedge fund ownership.
Connecticut journalists may remember Wiley for his time with the New Haven Register and the Hartford Courant. He will take over his new role next month.
