State rep candidate and former news anchor Janet Peckinpaugh has amended the campaign finance report from her unsuccessful bid for Congress after the state Democratic party chairwoman challenged it:
“Any omission from the reports was clearly an oversight,” Peckinpaugh said. “Criticism of the filing is simply an attempt to distract voters from my opponent’s support for Governor Malloy’s intention to allow local governments to raise taxes.”
What did she fix? Her campaign is still incorrectly reporting her debt, saying people have been paid when they weren’t.
And the bigger question is: if those people have been paid who illegally wrote the check?
Local governments can’t raise taxes now?
And this blithering idiot wants to go to the state legislature?
