On Primary Night we noticed that broadcaster Diane Smith, while anchoring the coverage for CTN, was wearing a sling. We found out why from Kenn Venit’s Facebook page:
The Connecticut Network (CT-N) provided extensive coverage of the Democratic and GOP Primaries 8-10-10 with Diane Smith & Kenn Venit. Hours before the broadcast, Diane tripped walking her dog, broke a bone in her right arm, bruised her forehead hitting the sidewalk, and was treated at the UConn Medical Center. She arrived on time at CT-N’s Legislative Office Building set and didn’t miss a beat from start to finish!
The producer did one hell of a job.
