The attorney for the Connecticut newspaper that is suing the Hartford Courant alleging 11 different acts of plagiarism says the lawsuit could set a precedent for monetary awards in the future for such acts. He adds that the suit is seeking $150,000 per incident, which could top out at $1.65 million.
