Why is this titled ” the next Brian Schactman”?
Thanks, Brian. We do have guns in this house. We have them locked up and we don’t have them to potcert ourselves, as neither one of us would have the time or expertise we’re very clear about this if there was a home invasion, etc. We have them for all kinds of complicated reasons that mostly, for the two of us, revolve around our fathers. One was a cop, the other a soldier (and a military police officer). And I do not see any CCM’s initiatives, for example, as a threat to me. I’m ok with more rigorous controls, including universal background checks and a far more involved renewal of permit process.I have heard the comment about opinions. I don’t think John Hopkins has a whole lot of opinion on their site. They have raw data and research, and they’d have more if the government would fund more gun research.
