After years of failed attempts at revitalization in East Hartford, Mayor Connor Martin tells us how he’s tried to turn things around since he took office in 2024, and how he’s trying to make East Hartford a place for people from all walks of life. Plus, his advice for younger people looking to get into politics.

Next month, Eversource and UI customers will see a small decrease in their bills thanks to legislation passed this session. Lawmakers have said this is one step toward reducing energy costs in Connecticut. So what’s next? Rep. Joe Canino (R-Torrington), a member of the Energy and Technology Committee, joins Mike with what he would like to see happen.
