The New Haven Register will stop printing its newspaper in the next few months and lay off approximately 105 employees as a result. The Register will now be printed by the Hartford Courant at its Hartford plant. The New Haven Independent, whose headline we borrowed, has the story.
In addition, the Register plans to sell its building on Sargent Drive in New Haven and move its news operation to downtown New Haven.
