If you’ve tuned in to WTNH’s 12:30 pm show, CT Style, you’ve seen that Steve Parker has been filling in for Desiree Fontaine. We asked “Who’s Steve Parker?” and found out the following: he’s done on camera segments for CT Style this year….has been working with the Connecticut Radio Network since September 2008… was a D.J. 95.7 at KISS-FM back in the late 80s…was the host of Steve Parker & Company Radio Talk Show on WPOP 1410 Hartford 1995-1996…Commercial Talent / Voice Over Announcer WTNH 1996-Present…the host of “Connecticut Business Today” for about 5 years on WTNH (Program owned byby an outside production company)….Host of “Before You Buy TV” (www.beforeyoubuy.tv) WTNH 2008.
We will add that we saw him do a pretty impressive merengue on the show’s Dance Party Friday this past week…
Steve is also the guy on the Bedding Barn commercials. His dad was WDRC legend Charlie Parker.
He is annoying & has NO talent.I hope he steals earrings soon.
Steve is a FINE person, is VERY talented and a class act all the way, just like his legendary Dad- but in his OWN way. I have met him on two occasions- once to have lunch with the legendary Merv Amols of Capitol Records…and at a special memorial get-together, hosted by Merv’s family. Both times, I was honored to have met Steve Parker. I think that ‘abeetzwmoots’ is probably the REAL ‘annoying/no talent’!
