The Big Lead, an independent sports news blog founded by Jason McIntyre, has been acquired by Chris Russo’s Fantasy Sports Ventures. Mr. Russo remarks that, “Jason covers general sports and celebrity with an in-depth focus on sports media. Through good journalism and good luck, The Big Lead has succeeded.”
Mr. McIntyre started the blog as a hobby while working at Us Weekly just three years ago and the site has been acquired for the “low seven figures”.
