The Hartford Business Journal reports an out of state investor partnership entered the winning bid to buy the former Hartford Courant building near the state Capitol in Hartford.
The final bid, offered in an on line auction, came to just short of $800,000.
The four story building, which sits on about four and a half acres, is mostly vacant except for Fox 61 and some Tribune offices.
The identity of the new owners is not known, nor is their intention for the property.
