As you might have heard, there is a small reduction in staff at The Courant today. Because of personal privacy and business concerns the details about whom and what positions will not be shared in an email. We are constantly assessing our operation, looking for efficiencies that will least impact our readers and journalism. While today’s cuts cause us personal and professional pain, the reductions better position our organization to meet our evolving production, news gathering and budgetary needs. If you have additional questions, feel free to talk to your manager, Naedine or me.
It’s not “small” if your job was one of those eliminated. Courant management has no clue.
