Matt Englehardt is leaving the Journal Inquirer for Goodwin College in East Hartford where he will be Communications Coordinator. Matt spent five years in journalism with stints at the Middletown Press and North Haven Citizen before starting at the Journal Inquirer in 2007.
For the JI his primary beat was East Hartford, but he covered issues in Windsor and statewide matters as well. He posted a a regular blog that the JI site linked to called “The Great Wedding Fast,” chronicling a personal challenge to lose 60 pounds by his wedding day in July (now at 71 pounds and counting).
