News 8 meteorologist Gil Simmons continues to recover at home following a health emergency a few weeks ago.
In a News 8 feature story, Simmons discloses for the first time, to his colleague Jocelyn Maminta, the nature of the illness that sent him to the hospital one morning shortly after waking up. He is not ready to return to work yet, but is working toward that goal.
