Well known Connecticut journalist Mike Savino has been hired to cover politics for NBC CT.
The job of political reporter for the station was posted at the end of last year. Savino teaches journalism at UConn and has been serving as president of the Connecticut Council on Freedom of Information. He previously worked on-air for WFSB.
