Former Governor John Rowland represented Connecticut’s 5th congressional district and is an issue there once again. The Torrington Register Citizen editorializes about lots of troubling questions related to Rowland’s role in congressional candidate Lisa Wilson-Foley’s campaign, and pay that Rowland received from Wilson-Foley’s husband. And now there’s abandoned puppy-gate.
Felon Rowland will, with good health, reap over one million dollars of taxpayer money in his lifetime honorarium for selling his office. For this, WTIC rewards him with a bully pulpit. Why didn’t his wife continue with her poetry career?
Actually, Rowland started his career as a State Rep. from Waterbury elected in 1980. He wonn the 5th district seat in Congress in 1984. Don’t mean to nitpick…
Corrected – thanks
