Avon resident and ESPN sportscaster Stuart Scott will undergo chemotherapy and other preventive cancer treatments after doctors recently removed some cancerous tissue. Three years ago Scott was diagnosed with cancer but was able to return to work after treatment. The current plan is for him to maintain as normal a work schedule as possible.
Man, I hope Stuart is alright, I hadn’t even heard of him having cancer, but I hope the treatments he undergoes are successful again.
I remember hearing that he had cancer quite a few years ago but then nothing else was said about it so I thought he beat it. He’s a great guy and he’s in my thoughts and prayers.
