The move by former NBC Connecticut sports guy Chris Wragge to the co-anchor spot at CBS Morning News has been helpful to Rob Morrison (above). Rob, who also worked at NBC30, has been promoted within WCBS-TV in New York:
…Rob Morrison has been named co-anchor of the weekday editions of Ch. 2’s “News This Morning.” Starting Jan. 3, he’ll co-anchor at 4:30-7 a.m., and at noon, with Mary Calvi. Morrison succeeds Maurice DuBois, who replaced Chris Wragge on Ch. 2’s 5 and 11 p.m. newscasts.
