WTNH just announced its new anchor teams (which we told you about in November). It’s now official that former reporter Ali Reed will co-anchor the morning shows with Chris Velardi. Allie came to WTNH from News12 and has a substantive reporting background.

From what I hear the news director was against the appointment and wanted to bring in someone younger and cheaper from the south. He was overruled.
