Long-time WFSB anchor and reporter Irene O’Connor has transitioned into the world of pubic relations joining Linked Media in West Hartford as director of public relations.
According to a news release issued by the company, “O’Connor will lead Linked Media’s efforts in strategic communication, media relations, and brand messaging.”
At WFSB, O’Connor was the primary anchor of the morning news block – until she stepped away from the anchor desk – and is given credit for influencing the adoption of the more conversational style of morning news now dominant in the Hartford/New Haven market.
