The more senior WFSB types and alums will remember Gayle King’s daughter, Kirby Bumpus, occasionally coming to the old newsroom at Constitution Plaza and doing her homework at her mom’s desk while Gayle anchored the 5 pm news (with Gerry, or Janet…). We see from this story in the New York Daily News that Stanford grad little Kirby is all grown up, and apparently privy to some very “adult” misbehavior. Silly article aside, it’s nice to see her smiling face again.
