After 140 years of local journalism the Enfield Press will cease publication on February 20th.

The Patch reported yesterday that “several employees, who requested anonymity, confirmed they were informed early this week of management’s decision to cease publication.”

The weekly Enfield Press is owned by Reminder Publishing, which is also ceasing publication of the Longmeadow News.
