As many political observers might have predicted, Kiernan Majerus-Collins(D) has secured his party’s nomination for a seat in the Maine House of Representatives representing the city of Lewiston.
Why do we care? Majerus-Collins in the son of former Bristol Press reporters Jackie Majerus and Steven Collins. Jackie is the co-founder and executive director of the non-profit, Youth Journalism International. Steve is a columnist with the Portland Press Herald.
Kiernan is an immigration and civil rights attorney.
